What does pH value mean? The pH value provides information about the acid or base content of the fertilizer solution. LED vs. NDL/HPS/sodium vapor lamp - big differences! Depending on the grow lamp, cuttings and hemp plants have different nutritional needs. Our gardener recommends an EC value of 2.5 to 3 for LEDs. For sodium vapor lamps we use an EC value of 1.5 to 1.8.
